Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive
Leave Nairobi early and drive through the beautiful highlands toward Masai Mara. Enjoy rolling hills, farms, and stunning valley viewpoints along the way. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive. The golden plains of the Mara open up with zebras, giraffes, antelopes, elephants and possibly lions or cheetahs resting in the grass. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and a calm evening surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara — Morning & Afternoon Drives
Start before sunrise for a refreshing morning game drive. This is the best time to see predators active and grazing herds moving across the plains. After breakfast, relax at the lodge, enjoy the views, or simply unwind.
After lunch, head out again for your afternoon drive. You may visit deeper parts of the reserve or river areas where wildlife gathers. During migration months, you might witness massive herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles crossing the landscape. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha & Optional Boat Ride

In the afternoon, choose an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you may spot hippos, waterbirds, and beautiful lake scenery. Some travelers enjoy a short walking tour on Crescent Island (optional) for a close look at giraffes, zebras and antelopes grazing freely. Enjoy a calm evening at the lodge.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed game drive where you may see elephants, buffaloes, gazelles, zebras and possibly lions. Mount Kilimanjaro often reveals its snowcapped peak in the evening, offering a stunning backdrop.

Return for breakfast and relax at the lodge during midday. After lunch, go for another game drive, exploring different sections of Amboseli’s wetlands, woodlands and grasslands. The park is perfect for photography thanks to its open views and dramatic backdrops.

Day 6: Morning in Amboseli & Return to Nairobi

Return for breakfast, pack up and begin your drive back to Nairobi. Expect to arrive in the afternoon with incredible memories from six days of adventure.
